This is Me and My Story...

My name is Victoria Edbrooke-Hyson, and this is a picture of me and my beautiful children. No one can tell you how hard being a parent can be and will be, although having children has been the most amazing and rewarding experience, my husband and I have been through a series of complications, with sleep being right at the top.

Both my children have struggled to sleep through the night, but I am here to tell you there is light at the end of the tunnel and although it was overwhelming, stressful and did put a lot of pressure on me and my husband’s relationship, the sense of achievement is far greater when your child sleeps through the night.

When becoming a parent everyone gives you advice and everyone has what they believe to be the 'right' way to parent, but remember YOU are the expert when it comes to YOUR baby, and you shouldn’t let anyone cloud your judgment.

When I needed advice about why my children did not sleep through the night I searched the internet for hours, but always came across the same things, be consistent, let them learn to self settle, but "how" I asked myself and make the room as dark as possible but any other advice I needed to pay LOTS of money for, which I didn’t have... but then I FOUND THE ANSWER!
